things do happen for a reason

I have received a nice email from aunt Pam this morning. It brought tears to my eyes.
While the story gave me a moment to be sentimental, it also gave me many reasons to
appreciate the life I am leading (though, I want something different), and made me think of
the things that I should be thankful for.

Initially, I was reluctant to start the blog. I am still very conscious about my English.
I have lived in the States since 1998 and my English is proficient enough to attend a grad school, but still writing in English doesn't come to me easily.

Anyway, I decided to pick up my drawing and painting instruments and start to draw and
paint again. It felt so good drawing again after so many years. unfortunately, skills are not there anymore (like I had one to begin with...hahaha....) and my hands aren't as fast or limber as use to be. But, I am going to give myself a chance to draw and paint again to see where that takes me. It might not take me anywhere, but at least I won't be looking back and regretting for not trying, right?

So, what I wished that happened long ago, which never did might happen in my future (hopefully a near future) and all I can think of now is do my best and pray. As the story said, things do happen for a reason in its own time.

Blogging site is such a massive one that I don't have any followers or friends yet, but I hope to make one (or several, better yet, many) someday.
Until then...I will be a good company to myself. cheers!
